Looking for a low-maintenance way to garden? Raised bed or container gardening might be the perfect solution for you.

Whether you have a small space or balcony, or even looking at adding some greenery to your indoor space, container gardening is a great option.

And, it’s especially well-suited for those of us who are less abled, have back/hip/knee issues or use wheelchairs, as there’s no need to bend down or get on your hands and knees to grow kai.

Many different materials can be used for container/raised bed gardening, making it a great way to re-use and upcycle unwanted items and materials.

Come join us for a FREE workshop on building and growing in containers/raised garden beds, get great tips and ideas and together build a wheelchair accessible raised bed garden for the Enviro Hub Show Garden!

You will learn:

  • What materials are best to use

  • How to find those materials

  • How to build a raised garden bed (specifically for use as an accessible garden bed) with upcycled materials wood.
