Kura Oranga Taiao ki Taranaki

  • Katere ki te Moana Marae 11 Cody Place New Plymouth, Taranaki, 4312 New Zealand (map)

Para Kore invites you to their second 'Kura Oranga Taiao ki Taranaki'.

If you are keen to learn more about protecting our environment, our taiao, and reducing your waste from a Māori worldview, then this is the hui for you. Come along and gain some new learnings to take back to your whānau or workplace.

Hui ā-Rohe are a series of local collaborative hui that provide a space to strengthen relationships, build local resilience, and share knowledge. The focus is on bringing local people together to learn and work together to build circular systems and consequently reduce the negative impact on the taiao and our mokopuna.

The theme of the hui is Toitū te Taiao, Toitū te Tangata.

Let’s come together and collectivise our efforts for the betterment of our taiao and our people. Now more than ever we are being called to speak up for our Atua and we are so much more powerful when we do this as one.

We as a people cannot thrive in isolation to our whenua – we must feed and nourish our Atua in order for them to do the same for us.

Full programme to come.
