FAMILY BIKE RIDE & REPAIR WORKSHOP

We are holding this event in an effort to promote zero-emission transport, raise awareness of the challenges faced by cyclists in New Plymouth (especially in accessing the Junction) and to educate the community on bike repair and maintenance.

The Bike ride portion of the event starts at 10am from the East End Reserve - Buller Street Carpark. The group ride is scheduled to depart at 10:30am.

Prizes will be handed out at the Junction End Point and a Sausage sizzle will be set up.

The Bike Kitchen Repair Workshop starts at 11.30am at The Junction Zero-Waste Hub and will be free to attend.

The Bike Kitchen volunteers will offer basic educational sessions on bike repair and maintenance and may be available to offer advice on bikes in need of service after the workshop.
