Felt Making for Kids (Mug Mats) - Morning or Afternoon Session

Outside of buying second-hand clothes or learning to mend, we can do more with old clothing. Learning the art of felt making will allow you to recycle selected garments, fabric and fibre remnants.

Book your tamariki (children) for either our morning or afternoon session during these school holidays. They will learn the basics of felt making and create a felt ball to take home. We encourage attendees to bring in old woollen jerseys, woollen yarn, cotton threads and open-weave cotton or silk discarded garments to be used on the day (materials will be available to use). Parents are welcome to supervise (free of charge).

$5 refunded as a Junction Reuse shop voucher on the day of the workshop (ticket per child).

please note – there is no disabled access to the education room.
