Public Native Tree Planting - Stratford - 800 Trust

Planting 7000 trees for Rā Rākau Tītapu - King Charles III Coronation.

800 Trust is transforming the old Tututawa forest into a bird forest. This area is actively trapped. Already fernbird and the native falcon live in this area. BBQ (sausages) provided. Please let us know if you are vegetarian. Portaloo at site.

We are in need of planters, tree guard installers and woolen mat to be cut and placed around trees.

The aim is to transform an old forestry block into a food forest for our native birds. In time we hope it will be part of a corridor with Lake Rotokare.
