Nature Cleanup with Tots - Waiwhakaiho Rivermouth

Come and help us clean Waiwhakaiho Rivermouth on Wednesday 8 November at 9:30am!

This cleanup is organised by Taranaki Conservationists, Trail & Tots and Sustainable Taranaki. 

This event is family and young kids-friendly! Your pēpi and tamariki are welcome! 

9:30am - Meet at the Waiwhakaiho Rivermouth parking (see map below) for a briefing. Bring your own gloves and buckets if possible but we'll provide some if needed!
9:40am - Start of the cleanup!
10:30am - Meeting back to drop off all the trash collected (recycling and landfill will be separated.)

Bring your keep cup as the Little Easy Cafe container will be open!

No RSVP required! Just show up!

EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
Are you not able to walk for too long? Are you late? Can you only join for 30min?
It is ALL GOOD! Please join us as we do our very best to make cleanups accessible to ALL!

The aim of this event is:

- to clean this location the best we can
- to divert trash from the landfill
- to engage and educate our community about waste and recycling
- create a fun and meaningful event for families to connect with the environment and take action towards bettering sustainability/conservation
