Zero Possum Open Evening

  • Butlers Reef 1133 South Road Ōakura, Taranaki, 4314 New Zealand (map)

Towards Predator-Free Taranaki welcome the community along to this informal open night!

The team will share the latest results, news and plans for the Zero Possum project. Drop in anytime to check out the displays, watch a possum detection dog in action and chat to our team about:

* 2000ha no resident possum population for 3+ years - what that means and how can we all help maintain it
* Farmland trap barrier, possum dogs and self-reporting cameras - the tools we're using and where
* Your possum and predator control questions - how the project affects you
* The bigger picture - mustelid control, Towards Predator-Free Taranaki across the region and the Predator Free 2050 goal

Nibbles provided. All welcome. Hope to see you there!
