Across the country Nederlanders and descendants are organising family friendly Orange Bike Rides on April 30th, to promote cycling as a sustainable means of transport celebrate the bond between the Dutch and the Kiwis, and stimulate cycling across all generations.
The ride will be along the Coastal Walkway approx. 9km with start at Tasman Prospect (the grass area adjacent to the Egmont St Wind Wand carpark).
From there we ride north on the foreshore before turning at the Waiwhakaiho river mouth, and heading back to the start (Tasman Prospect).
Come early to decorate your bike, from 9.am

Stay for Coffee and food (Vendors TBC)
