If you are interested in volunteering your time at a zero waste event, read on we would love to have you join our team!
By volunteering at events, you can help reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills. We are proud of our accomplishments and have on average reduced the amount of waste that ends up in landfill by 81% since we started in 2022. Our team covers events at some of the most prominent venues in the area, including the Bowl of Brooklands, TSB Stadium, and Yarrow Stadium. We also helped out at Te Matatini, Festival of Lights, Christmas at the Bowl, Americarna, and other events.
As a Zero Waste Volunteer, you will be responsible for manning a waste station, ensuring that the public uses the right bin, and educating them on recycling practices at home. Additionally, you will help with the cleanup at the end of the event.
We will provide you with training opportunities, food, and plenty of chances to enjoy the event. Plus, it’s a great way to meet new people!
Join us today and help make a difference in creating a more sustainable Taranaki!
