Zero-Waste Events

We value your time and skills, and believe that you can play a significant role in helping Taranaki become more sustainable. Our organization considers every volunteer vital, and we would be honoured to have you join our team!

By volunteering at community events, you can help reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills. We are proud of our accomplishments and have shared some of our results in the bin pics. Our team covers events at some of the most prominent venues in the area, including the Bowl of Brooklands, TSB Stadium, and Yarrow Stadium. We have also helped out at the Festival of Lights, sporting events, concerts, Americarna, and other events.  

As a Zero Waste Volunteer, you will be responsible for manning a waste station, ensuring that the public uses the right bin, and educating them on recycling practices at home. Additionally, you will help with the cleanup at the end of the event.
We will provide you with training opportunities, food, and plenty of chances to enjoy the event. Plus, it’s a great way to meet new people!
